By applying for summerXchange you agree to the following:

1. I understand that I am responsible for paying or raising the full cost of the internship. I
   agree to provide half of the total amount by the due date of 1 June, 2011 and the
   remainder by no later than 15 August, 2011
2. I am willing to go to any team site I am assigned within the published options for this
   year.
3. I understand that my safety and protection cannot be guaranteed. I will take
   ownership and responsibility for my own health and safety by practicing street
   smarts, listening to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and following the guidelines
   prescribed by my team.
4. I confirm that I have health insurance or will be covered under a valid health
   insurance policy from 7 June, 2011 to 2 August, 2011.
5. I will not consume any illicit drugs or abuse alcohol during the course of the
   internship.
6. I agree I will continue taking all of my prescribed medications throughout the duration
   of the internship.
7. I will not pursue any romantic or physical/sexual relationships on my team or with
   anyone on my ministry site throughout the duration of the internship.
8. I can and will attend all internship related events, including orientation and debrief,
   outside of family emergencies, illness or injury, in agreement with my team leader.
9. I agree to treat teammates, site leaders and InnerCHANGE directors with kindness
   and respect, always seeking peace and reconciliation where relationships or
   communications break down.
10. I understand that if any of these agreements are broken during any portion of the
    internship, my site leaders and InnerCHANGE directors hold the right to send me
    home immediately at my own expense, forfeiting any of the remainder of my
    internship funds.

(We know these may sound extreme, but you would not believe what we have already
seen in just a few years of experience. Trust us - these are born out of experience!)
